Steve Kimock
Steve Kimock is the quintessential musician. From his earliest days as a teen growing up in the Lehigh Valley and then joining the Bay Area music scene in the 70’s, Steve Kimock has been inspiring with his guitar speak. While you can say that Steve Kimock's genre is rock, no one niche has ever confined him. Instead, through the years, he's explored various sounds and styles based on what's moved him at the time from blues to jazz to world music to . Kimock is just as expressive and soulful and passionate whether he's playing an acoustic guitar, electric or even lap steel. During his many decades in the industry, he's experienced folk-rock with The Goodman Brothers, salsa with The Underdogs, Psychedelic with his own group Zero and later KVHW, and eventually the Steve Kimock band and now Steve Kimock Crazy Engine. Along the way, he's had the good fortune to tour with such greats as Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, Bob Weir, Pete Sears, and Bruce Hornsby among many others. SKB's first blues infused studio album Eudemonic, was released in 2004 with more to come from Kimock in 2010.
