From the womb of the Punk rock scene, Bauhaus 1919 (as Bauhaus was originally known), emerged on the British music scene as the first Goth band in the late 70s. Bauhaus ultimately cut four studio albums in the 80's - In the Flat Field, Mask, The Sky's Gone Out, and in 1983 their last studio album of that era, Burning from the Inside. After many years, the band came together in the studio one more time toward the end of 2007 to work on the album Go Away White, which came out the following March.
